Announcing: The Colombia Building Fund

We need your help.

We are shifting into fundraising mode for the Colombia Building Fund! So far, we haven't really pushed this project, and yet almost $70,000 has already been given!!! But, don't let that fool you. With that being only 7% of the need, God is going to use a lot more churches and people like you. We hope you'll consider what your part might be in providing buildings for churches in Colombia.

What can you do?

You can give online here, and there are many other ways to get involved here. The current need is simply funding to purchase land in 2022 and begin construction in 2023. The future need will be for groups to visit us in Colombia and to help finish spaces within the building and to help with outreach activities. Pray also for more workers: Colombian church-planters and American missionaries. We would love to see you involved in all three of these ways: giving, going, and praying.

What is it?

The Colombia Building Fund will purchase buildings for the church we have already planted and for churches we will plant in the future.

In general, the Colombia Building Fund will purchase buildings for already established churches in low-income, dense-population areas. These churches usually struggle to pay rent for the buildings they meet in, and would not be able to purchase a building on their own.

How does it work?

The buildings will be held in the name of the fellowship of churches we have set up in Colombia. After the purchase of the first building, churches that use the building will donate a very affordable 'rent' back into the fund each month. Multiple churches will be started in the community, and will later move into the same building. We will start those churches and train others to start them.

What's the potential?

With each additional church that uses the building, the fund will be replenished even faster. With several churches using the same building, a new building can be purchased every few years. As long as churches are faithful to multiply in their communities, buildings can continue to be purchased to launch church-planters across Colombia.
