Teaching

Ladies Retreat
1st Semester Training & Discipleship School

I am looking forward to teaching my class in the Training and Discipleship School this month. It’s always a joy to think maybe God can use me to make a difference in some student’s life. God has formed a good group this semester and I know “God is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine.” Ephesians 3:20

Volunteer Meeting

The last Saturday of January we invited all our volunteers to meet for an encouraging time with Pastor Nestor. It humbles me to see hearts that want to serve Jesus. Some serve in kids/nursery ministry, others are greeters, some disciple new believers, some teach in different age Bible classes, and on and on. Through the years, God had to teach Craig and me the value of volunteers. Volunteers are worth GOLD! We celebrate them as much as we can.

Bible Academy & Institute

Bible Classes

I wanted to share with you a ministry we have in our church that, at times, does not get mentioned much and yet is of high value. Our two-year Bible Academy is done online during the week and is a requirement to enter the four-year Bible Institute. It is so exciting to see people I have known for so many years continuing with their passion to grow and

serve.

Thanks

It has certainly been a busy start of this new year. I want to express my appreciation for the special gifts that were sent for Christmas at the end of 2023. I am blessed! God has been encouraging me in the midst of my eye exams I’ve been doing since the first part of January. No cataract surgery YET, but I do have the beginnings of Macular Degeneration. We have a very good eye clinic here in Bogota and I feel very confident being cared for here. So, I must always drive with glasses and avoid night driving. YUCK! But I will comply. I ask that you pray for the new reality with my eyes remembering it is in early stages.

Please consider helping with the purchase of new tires for my car here in Colombia. I will, in the next couple of months, have to replace them. The total cost will probably be around $500 to $600 for the four tires. Thank you!

We know who holds the future and life is worth the living JUST BECAUSE HE LIVES!

Happy Easter everyone,
